CBD0009- Squam River Bridge

Montalvo Photo Gallery

Open to vehicle traffic, the Squam River Bridge is located in Ashland, New Hampshire. It is 64' long and was built in 1990 in a manner that replicates the traditional covered bridge style. This bridge replaced a steel and concrete bridge that was condemned by the state. The state proposed a two-lane steel bridge as a replacement but the citizens of Ashland voted and raised money to have a one-lane covered bridge.
