Montalvo Photo Gallery

Swiftwater Bridge was built in 1849 and is 163' long. It covers the Wild Ammonoosuc River in Bath, New Hampshire. With steel beam reinforcements and resting on concrete footings, it is said to have survived the use of explosives to clear logjams in the area. It is still open to traffic and has been added to the National Register of Historic Places.
